Operation Policy Revision Notice

 

Hello, this is ASTRA: Knights of Veda.

 

The ASTRA: Knights of Veda’s revisions to Operation Policy will take effect from April 2, 2024. 

Please refer to the following for more details:

1. Effective Date 

- Revision Date: Tuesday, April 2, 2024

 

2. Purpose of Revision

- Update the list of restrictions on content usage, including adjustments to what constitutes a violation and adding a section on 'proxy gaming' to address this specific issue.

- Introduce new rules regarding guild management and policies on the reuse of long-term unused names.

- Eliminate the dormant account policy to reflect current practices.

 

3. Main Revisions

4. Usage Restriction Policy

4. Measures to restrict the use of content related to violations for a certain period of time (chat usage restrictions, etc. applied on an account or guild basis)

③ In the event that the degree of violation of the Operation Policy is minor, usage restrictions may be applied at a lower level than the Usage Restriction Standard Table, or usage restrictions may be replaced with simple warning measures.

③ In cases where the violation of operational policies is minor, restrictions may be applied at a lower level than the criteria outlined in the Usage Restriction Standard Table. Alternatively, limitations may be replaced with content usage restrictions or may be replaced with a simple warning.

4. Usage Restriction Policy

① Participating in competitions or other competitive content using another person's account, thereby influencing the outcomes.

② Engaging in behavior that disrupts normal game operations using another person's account.

③ Using someone else's account to access game content, or allowing others to use your account for game content, thereby gaining unfair advantages.

 

※ If a third party violates the Terms of Service or Operational Policy using your account during account sharing, sanctions may be applied to both the account holder and the account involved.

 

- First: 7-day game usage restriction

- Second: 14-day game usage restriction

- Third or more: 30-day game usage restriction

5. Guild Policy

5. Guild Policy

① Users are free to choose and create a guild name. However, if the created guild violates the criteria set out in '4. Usage Restriction Policy', it may be subject to separate sanctions.

② The transfer of guild master privileges must be done directly by the guild master to another guild member. However, if the guild master has not logged into the game for more than 7 days, the guild master status will automatically be delegated to a qualifying guild member based on the following criteria:

  1. Guild members who have logged into the game within the last 7 days.
  2. Guild members with higher ranks.
  3. If ranks are equal, the member with the higher accumulated contribution to the guild.
  4. If accumulated contributions are equal, the member who joined the guild first.

③ If a guild master disband the guild, restoration of the guild is not possible.

8. Long-Term Inactive Name Policy

① To enhance service and ensure smooth game operations, the company reserves the right to arbitratily change character and guild names based on the following criteria: 

  1. Characters that have not been logged in for over 1 year from their last game connection.
  2. Guilds with members whose last game connection dates exceed 1 year. 

* In cases where character names or guild names are changed to due to long-term inactivity, the company will provide advance notice through a website announcement 30 days prior to the scheduled change, detailing the date and nature of the changes.

7. Dormant account policy

① To prevent the user’s account information and character from being used for unjustified purposes and to operate and manage the service in a stable manner, separate measures may be taken by converting the information of accounts and characters that have not accessed the game for more than 12 consecutive months to dormant accounts.

② The Company may destroy the personal information of dormant accounts or take measures to separate and safely store them.

  1. Processing of account deactivation: Deletion of account/character information, or destruction/separate storage of personal information

- Target: Accounts with no payment history

③ If classified as inactive, the Company shall inform the user of the relevant information through a notice on the website or via e-mail 30 days prior to the action, and the measures applied to inactive accounts shall be applied.

④ In the event that the user does not wish to delete his or her account and character, he or she may access the game to deactivate the dormant status.

⑤ In the event that the account has been converted to an inactive account and the account and character are deleted as a result, the account and game information cannot be recovered.

 

4. Objections and Inquiries 

In case you do not indicate your consent or objection to the revised Operation Policy by Tuesday, April 2, 2024, it will be assumed that you have agreed to these revised terms.

In case you do not agree to the revised Operation Policy, you may request withdrawal of your membership.
